Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Recruitment 2025

Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025):

General (UR): 18 – 40 years
Ex-Servicemen: Up to 42 years
OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
SC/ST (P) & (H): Up to 45 years
PwD: Up to 50 years

Educational Qualification:

For LP Schools:

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by RCI.
Must have passed ATET/CTET for LP level.

For UP Schools:

Graduate with at least 50% marks.
B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI.
Must have passed ATET/CTET for UP level.

Other Conditions:

Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
Small Family Norms: Applicants with more than two living children after 01.01.2021 are not eligible.
Medium of Instruction: Language of ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school applied for.
