Eligibility Criteria for APSC Grade IV Recruitment

Age Limit

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 40 years (as on 01/01/2025)

Age Relaxation

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification

Minimum: Class VIII passed
Maximum: HSSLC/Class 12 passed
Candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible.

Other Criteria

Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen (Articles 5–8 of Constitution).
Residentship: Must be a permanent resident of Assam with valid PRC/Employment Exchange Certificate.
Employment Exchange: Mandatory registration in Assam Employment Exchange.
Small Family Norms: Declaration in Form-A must be submitted.

Application Fee

Though there is no application fee, a processing fee of Rs. 47.20 is applicable for all categories.
