IOCL Apprentice Vacancy 2025 – Trade & Disciplines
The apprentices will be engaged in the following trades/disciplines:
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical)
- Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource)
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant)
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher)
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)
Stipend
The monthly stipend will be paid as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules, 1992 (as amended), and IOCL guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Pipelines Division Recruitment
Age Limit (as on 31.08.2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 24 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST → 5 years
- OBC/MOBC → 3 years
- PwBD → 10 years
- PwBD-OBC (NCL) → 13 years
- PwBD-SC/ST → 15 years
Educational Qualification
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)
- Full-time 3 years Diploma (or lateral entry after Class XII/ITI into 2nd year of Diploma) in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Electrical)
- Full-time 3 years Diploma in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
- Full-time 3 years Diploma in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource)
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline).
Trade Apprentice (Accountant)
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
Data Entry Operator (Fresher)
- 10+2 Pass (but below Graduate).
Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)
- 10+2 Pass (but below Graduate).
- Must hold a Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ issued by a recognized body under NSQF or any other authority recognized by Govt. of India.
