Gauhati University (GU) has officially opened the application portal for Post Graduate (PG) Admission 2025. Students seeking admission to MA, MSc, and MCom courses for the academic session 2025–2026 must appear in the GU PG Entrance Test (PGET) 2025, scheduled for 10th to 12th July 2025. The online application process starts from 23rd June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (with at least 24 credits in the subject applied for) from a recognized university. Both Honours and Regular stream graduates are eligible.
• Provisional Eligibility: Final semester students (6th sem B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.Voc) can apply provisionally. Must submit final marksheet within 7 days of results.
• Backlogs Allowed: Students with backlogs in previous semesters are also allowed, subject to final result submission.
• Mandatory: Appearing in PGET 2025 is compulsory for admission into all PG programmes of GU and affiliated colleges.
