SSC MTS Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for MTS & Havaldar Posts

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for SSC MTS Recruitment 2025 for the posts of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar in CBIC and CBN departments. Eligible candidates can apply online through the SSC Recruitment Portal before the last date of 24th July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS Recruitment 2025

Nationality:

Candidate must be:

A citizen of India
OR subject of Nepal/Bhutan
OR a Tibetan refugee
OR a person of Indian origin from select countries as listed in the official notification.

Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025):

MTS: 18 to 25 years (born between 02.08.2000 to 01.08.2007)
Havaldar: 18 to 27 years (born between 02.08.1998 to 01.08.2007)

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD (UR): 10 years
PwBD (OBC): 13 years
PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Application Fee for SSC MTS Exam

General/OBC: ₹100/-
SC/ST/PwD/ESM/Women: Nil
Mode of Payment: Online (UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards) or through SBI Challan

Mode of Exam:

Computer Based Examination (CBT) in two sessions (Session-I and Session-II)
Both sessions are mandatory

Language of Questions:

English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages including Assamese, Manipuri, Bengali, etc.

Negative Marking:

No negative marking in Session-I
1 mark negative marking for each wrong answer in Session-II
