BSF Constable Recruitment 2025: The Border Security Force (BSF) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 3588 Constable/ Tradesmen posts under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. BSF Constable Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 23rd August 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Trade-Wise Qualification
For Technical Trades:
Constable (Carpenter/ Plumber/ Painter/ Electrician/ Pump Operator/ Upholster):
- Option 1: Two years ITI certificate in the relevant trade
- Option 2: One year ITI certificate + one year work experience
For Skilled Trades:
Constable (Cobbler/ Tailor/ Washerman/ Barber/ Sweeper/ Khoji/ Syce):
- Proficiency in respective trade
- Must qualify trade test conducted by BSF
For Hospitality Trades:
Constable (Cook/ Water Carrier/ Waiter):
- Must possess NSQF Level-I course in food production/kitchen from NSDC or NSDC-recognized institutes
